Job description
The Opportunity

As the manager of our in‑house Event Service you’ll lead the planning and execution of a wide variety of high‑impact events and event services from product launches and press previews to internal conferences and retailer events. You’ll be the driving force behind every detail overseeing delivery to ensure all our events reflect the brand’s premium positioning and sustainability ethos. You will take briefs from and work closely with colleagues in PR Network Retail Marketing Training & Fleet Sales to help support and deliver their event requirements as well as being responsible for all brand events. You’ll know which events need your 100% focus and others where you can support advise and oversee while colleagues and event agencies deliver.

The Responsibilities
  • Event Management : Plan deliver and evaluate events ensuring seamless execution and brand alignment
  • Stakeholder Coordination : Liaise with internal teams and manage external partners (venues agencies suppliers) to deliver best‑in‑class experiences. Act as the main point of contact with our global events team
  • Budget Ownership : Manage event budgets ensuring cost efficiency and ROI
  • Sustainability Focus : Integrate eco‑conscious practices into event design and delivery
  • Brand Experience : Ensure every touchpoint from signage to hospitality reflects our brand values and elevates audience engagement
  • Reporting & Analysis : Track KPIs gather feedback and deliver post‑event reports to measure ROI and inform future strategy
  • Management : Work closely with and coordinate event agency /ies to deliver the best experience each and every time. Line manage one events intern until March 2026
The Ideal Candidate

You’ll be inquisitive for opportunities to support and improve experiences at events large and small customising the approach for different audiences while driving consistency across all types of events. With an eye for detail you’ll ensure every event is delivered within our Polestar brand guidelines. Your excellent communication and negotiation abilities will help you collaborate effectively as well as having a passion for helping others deliver events that reflect the Polestar brand. As a team player with a can‑do attitude you’ll thrive in a dynamic environment bringing a passion for sustainability and innovation to everything you do.

In addition you’ll need the following :
  • Proven experience in event delivery preferably within the automotive sector. Ideally this experience is gained in‑house but if you’re keen to bring agency experience to client side we’d love to hear from you
  • Experience of working in a matrix organisation would be ideal but not essential
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple events stakeholders and deadlines
  • Willingness to travel across the UK as required
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced high‑growth environment
