Overview

Events Producer (Conferences & Commercial Events) - 12 months FTC - London (Hybrid) Salary £39K

We're looking for a hands-on Events Producer to join a busy editorial-facing events team delivering high-quality, professional Conference programmes for clinical and healthcare audiences. This is a 35-hour week, 1-year fixed-term role based in central London with flexible/SMART working in place.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct market and audience research to identify event themes, validate demand and monitor competitor activity.
  • Identify and qualify potential commercial partners and sponsorship opportunities via desk research, interviews and surveys.
  • Design and develop conference agendas and session formats that meet clear learning objectives for the target clinical audience.
  • Research, approach and interview speakers; secure chairs; brief speakers to ensure presentations align with session aims.
  • Manage client relationships day-to-day: join calls, provide progress updates and ensure event deliverables meet client expectations
  • Work closely with marketing, sales and event operations to repurpose content (recordings, transcripts, blogs), track engagement and use feedback to improve future programmes.
  • Support on-the-day delivery and follow up with speakers and stakeholders afterwards.
What we\'re looking for
  • Experience producing conferences or CPD-style events, ideally aimed at healthcare or professional audiences.
  • Strong research and commercial awareness — able to identify market opportunities and sponsorship potential.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and confidence joining client calls.
  • Strong project management — able to track multiple workstreams, flag risks early and keep things on schedule.
  • Confident communicator (written and verbal) with experience briefing and coaching speakers.
  • Attention to detail and comfort working to compliance constraints where required
