Avon Wildlife Trust has ambitious plans to tackle the ecological and climate crises. We are seeking an enthusiastic Events & Operations Officer to contribute through keen marketing skills and helping raise funds for nature’s recovery.

You will be working within the Grow Wilder team, managing and planning bookings and on-site operations relating to all events and space hire.

You will thrive on maximising repeat business as well as creating new business through involvement in developing and marketing a range of activities such as education, lifelong learning, employee engagement and wellbeing days.

You will work with the communications team, contributing to a wide range of digital and non-digital channels using accessible communications to reach a wide range of audiences.

As a person who loves meeting new people, you will liaise with numerous stakeholders such as internal staff, tutors and businesses to plan and manage bookings, underpinning this with excellent administration skills and attention to detail.

Avon Wildlife Trust is a charity dedicated to working with local people for local wildlife, covering the West of England region. It is supported by more than 17,500 members, manages over 30 nature reserves and is one of 46 Wildlife Trusts in the UK.
