Role Overview

The Talent Set is excited to be working with one of our favourite clients as they search for an Events Officer to support them for an exciting 9‑month contract.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate bookings across multiple platforms
  • Handle and respond to all event‑related enquiries
  • Support the planning and execution of clearing events alongside the permanent events team
  • Provide comprehensive support for open day and similar recruitment events
  • Liaise with attendees and stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and event experience
  • Assist with event logistics, including scheduling, setup, and on‑the‑day coordination
  • Help organise and deliver campus tours
  • Maintain and update spreadsheets, particularly for academic liaison and event tracking
  • Contribute to general marketing activities on an ad hoc basis
  • Availability to support events on key dates
  • CRM system experience is desirable but not essential
Person Specification
  • Experience working on large scale events.
  • Knowledge of the higher education marketing is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
