Job summary

De Vere Wokefield Estate is seeking an Events Manager to lead our Meetings & Events Service team and ensure flawless delivery of weddings and banqueting events on site. You will report to the Meetings & Events Operations Manager and work closely with colleagues to meet client requirements.

You will play a key role in rota planning, recruitment activities and training, while supporting other Food & Beverage outlets as required. A variety of shifts including weekends on a rota basis are involved.

Qualifications

• Experience in events management or supervision within a hospitality environment.
• Ability to deliver weddings and banqueting events with attention to client requirements.
• Strong communication, organization, and proactive drive.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Meetings & Events Service team to ensure operational delivery of weddings and events.
• Support rota planning, recruitment activities and training.
• Coordinate with other Food & Beverage outlets as required.
• Work a variety of shifts including weekends on a rota basis.
