Job Description
  • Mentor and support the Events Assistant.
  • Deliver strategic client and BD-led events aligned with firm strategy.
  • Assist the Senior Manager with firmwide events, sponsorships, and key programmes.
  • Lead senior networking initiatives, including topics, speakers, and guest management.
  • Oversee conference operations and agency relationships.
  • Manage event memberships, debentures, and supplier negotiations for cost efficiency.
  • Deliver events supporting firm priorities (Alumni, D&I, Responsible Business).
  • Coordinate major internal events and manage event budgets.
  • Share market insights and promote best-practice event management.
  • Develop, present, and execute event proposals to achieve strategic goals.
  • Maintain strong supplier and stakeholder communication to maximise ROI.
The Successful Applicant
  • Minimum seven years' event management experience in a professional services environment.
  • Formal qualifications in events or marketing preferred.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Strong creative, analytical, and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Confident presenter, able to engage senior audiences with clarity and enthusiasm.
  • Skilled at influencing stakeholders and driving event strategies.
  • Results‑driven with a track record of overcoming challenges and delivering solutions.
  • Experienced in managing complex, multi‑stakeholder projects to deliver exceptional client experiences.
  • Strategic thinker with strong awareness of the firm's position in the external market.
