Job Description
- Mentor and support the Events Assistant.
- Deliver strategic client and BD-led events aligned with firm strategy.
- Assist the Senior Manager with firmwide events, sponsorships, and key programmes.
- Lead senior networking initiatives, including topics, speakers, and guest management.
- Oversee conference operations and agency relationships.
- Manage event memberships, debentures, and supplier negotiations for cost efficiency.
- Deliver events supporting firm priorities (Alumni, D&I, Responsible Business).
- Coordinate major internal events and manage event budgets.
- Share market insights and promote best-practice event management.
- Develop, present, and execute event proposals to achieve strategic goals.
- Maintain strong supplier and stakeholder communication to maximise ROI.
The Successful Applicant
- Minimum seven years' event management experience in a professional services environment.
- Formal qualifications in events or marketing preferred.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with senior management and stakeholders.
- Strong creative, analytical, and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Confident presenter, able to engage senior audiences with clarity and enthusiasm.
- Skilled at influencing stakeholders and driving event strategies.
- Results‑driven with a track record of overcoming challenges and delivering solutions.
- Experienced in managing complex, multi‑stakeholder projects to deliver exceptional client experiences.
- Strategic thinker with strong awareness of the firm's position in the external market.
