Job description

GBR Recruitment Limited is working exclusively with a Global market leader in the personal care/well-being products industry to recruit an experienced corporate Events Coordinator to plan and deliver corporate sales events.

This is a fantastic role for an events professional or a PA/EA who has been responsible for setting up and overseeing company events as part of their role. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing small and large scale corporate events, hosting anywhere from 50 attendees to 10,000 attendees across the UK and Europe.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute corporate events, assisting the business with their events expansion strategy across the UK and Europe
  • Liaise with Market/Sales Development Managers on their plans for events in their specific regions
  • Work closely with Sales Executives to plan and execute corporate sponsored events throughout the UK and Europe
  • Coordinate event plans for large scale conferences and smaller events, including liaising with suppliers, notifying internal teams, collating marketing/events collateral, and adhering to deadlines
  • Work closely with all departments to facilitate successful events
  • Research suitable venues for potential events of varying sizes
  • Assist the team across a variety of events and events marketing activities
  • Help the events team set up and execute events across 30+ countries across the UK and in Europe
  • Work/host at on-site events, representing the company
  • Responsible for various large event assignments
  • General events project management and events administration
  • Venue booking, guest speaker liaison, travel, accommodation, and delegate management
  • Event administration support, including accurate data entry, Excel spreadsheet management, and other general event support
  • Regular communication with Senior Events Manager on event requirements and making suggestions for improvements after events
  • Provide general day-to-day event support to the Senior Events Coordinator
Qualifications and Experience
  • Events coordination and event management experience required (within a corporate business) as an Events professional or as part of PA/EA duties within a business
  • Used to event planning and delivering highly successful corporate events
  • Strong communicator with peers, suppliers, and end-using customers
  • Strong administration and coordination skills, a real multi-tasker
  • Deadline-driven individual who can make things happen OTIF
  • Intermediate level IT skills, especially in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Works well under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Ultra proactive and ultra positive 'can do' approach to tasks
  • Additional European language skills would be beneficial (not a must-have), ideally someone who could speak Polish, Romanian, Spanish, French, Italian, or other
