UP TO £26,208 DOE | OFFICE BASED | EXETER CITY CENTRE

Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive Events Coordinator to join a vibrant team in Exeter. The role is perfect for someone who loves variety, balancing community engagement, event delivery, and first‑class customer service. From welcoming guests to planning and hosting events, this position plays a vital part in maintaining the energy and professionalism of a busy, customer‑focused workspace.

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm (occasional evening work for events, with time off in lieu).

Responsibilities of the Events Coordinator:
  • Coordinate and deliver a diverse programme of community and corporate events, ensuring each runs smoothly from planning through to completion.
  • Provide a warm, professional front‑of‑house service—welcoming guests, managing reception duties, and ensuring a seamless experience for members and visitors.
  • Support meeting room operations, including set‑up, bookings, and ensuring facilities are always presented to a high standard.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to maintain an engaging, efficient, and customer‑focused environment.
Requirements of the Events Coordinator:
  • Previous experience in customer service, ideally within hospitality, events, or a flexible workspace environment.
  • A genuine passion for event planning, coordination, and delivering memorable experiences.
  • Energetic, organised, and able to work independently as well as part of a supportive team.
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings for events, demonstrating flexibility and a positive approach.
  • Able to work with external teams to reach required outcomes.
