We’re Avvoka

We’re Avvoka, a platform built for the next generation of legal drafting.

We help lawyers, deal teams and commercial leaders create, negotiate and manage complex contracts faster and smarter. Our platform blends automation, collaboration and AI while keeping lawyers in control, because we believe the best work happens when people have better tools, not when they’re replaced by them.

Avvoka is trusted by leading law firms, banks and enterprises. We’ve grown fast, almost entirely through product strength and word of mouth.

Now we’re at an inflection point. We’re evolving from a product-led business into a global brand that defines what the next era of drafting looks and feels like. That means investing in design, storytelling and experiences that move the market.

You’ll join the team building that brand from the inside out.

The Role

This is a dual-aspected role, where You’ll combine strategic event planning, brand-led storytelling, and long-term community building, to own how Avvoka shows up on stage, in rooms and across our community.

Events are where people experience who we are. Every moment is a chance to build relationships, tell our story and shape how the market sees us.

You’ll lead Avvoka’s events programme, from our flagship LogicallyDrafted series to client roundtables, webinars and partner activations. You’ll manage suppliers, budgets and timelines, working with marketing and sales to get the most value from every activation from pre-event prospecting to post-event content.

As Avvoka grows, so will this role. You’ll expand our programme across international markets and help define what brand experience means for Avvoka. You’ll have freedom to experiment, create and scale what works.

You’ll work across formats: conferences, workshops, roundtables and digital events. You’ll also develop new ways to bring our network together, both physically and virtually.

It’s a hands-on, creative role for someone who wants to turn ideas into experiences people remember.

What You’ll Do
  • Strategic planning: Build and own Avvoka’s global events & brand experience calendar. Define objectives, KPIs and commercial alignment for each activation.
  • End-to-end delivery: Lead concept → content → delivery → post-event activation across physical and digital formats (conferences, workshops, roundtables, webinars). Manage suppliers, budgets and timelines.
  • Brand & creative stewardship: Ensure every experience is unmistakably Avvoka — modern, polished, human. Work with design and comms to craft narratives and assets.
  • Community design & growth: Design programmes and activation loops that convert one-off attendees into repeat participants, advocates and sales opportunities. Own retention, repeat attendance and member experience.
  • Measurement & optimisation: Set targets (attendance, retention, pipeline attribution, engagement metrics), report results, and iterate the playbook using insights.
  • Cross-functional partnership: Work closely with Marketing, Sales and Customer Success to drive prospecting, lead routing and content repurposing.
  • Scale & systemise: Create repeatable playbooks and processes that improve quality and efficiency as Avvoka expands into new markets.
What You’ll Bring
  • Proven experience running B2B events and experience programmes with a strategic/brand-first mindset (SaaS, legaltech, professional services or tech preferred).
  • Outcomes-driven: You set KPIs up-front and can report before/after numbers (attendance, conversion, pipeline, engagement, NPS, content performance).
  • Community‑orientated: You’ve designed and grown an ongoing programme (member series, cohorts, forum, or hybrid network) with demonstrable retention and repeat participation.
  • Creative + operational: You pair conceptual ideas with excellent project management — supplier negotiation, budgets and timelines.
  • Stakeholder savvy: Comfortable engaging senior professionals (lawyers, innovation leads, execs) and aligning cross‑functional teams.
  • Excellent communicator & facilitator: You’ve hosted panels, workshops or roundtables and can translate events into multichannel content.
  • Design‑minded: A sharp eye for how brand, format and detail shape experience and perception.

Bonus: experience with HubSpot, Eventbrite, Luma, or marketing automation; previous work in high‑growth startups, legaltech or SaaS.

In addition to the technical and professional skills, there are certain core attributes we value across all roles:

  • Adaptability in dynamically evolving settings.
  • A proactive, solution‑focused mindset with ownership.
  • A collaborative spirit, supporting and mentoring others.

If you’re excited about this role but your experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification, we encourage you to apply anyway — you might be just the candidate we’re looking for.

What Success Looks Like

To ensure your application has the best opportunity of success, your CV could cover the below measures of success with quantifiable results (e.g., percentages, growth, reductions, impact):

  • Clear KPIs for event series and community programmes, with measurable increases in awareness, repeat attendance and attributable pipeline.
  • A documented, repeatable events playbook and process that improves delivery efficiency.
  • Active community membership with rising retention and repeat participation metrics.
  • High‑quality event content repurposed across channels that drives measurable engagement.
Our Hiring Process
  • CV Review: Our People team reviews all applications carefully.
  • Screening Call (15m): A quick virtual chat with our People team to learn more about you and answer any initial questions.
  • Stage 1 – Assessment Interview (30–45m): A virtual assessment interview with the Hiring Manager focused on your experience and approach.
  • Stage 2 – Senior Interview (for senior roles): An additional conversation with members of the leadership team.
  • Meet the Team: Where possible, we’ll invite shortlisted candidates to visit our WeWork Waterloo office to meet the wider team.

We aim to make an offer to the successful candidate within a month of application, but this will vary by role and seniority.

Why Join Us

This is a rare chance to help build the Avvoka brand from the ground up, not maintain it. You’ll join a new, ambitious marketing team with the freedom to create, experiment and set new standards for brand experience in legal tech.

You’ll work with smart, supportive people who move fast and care about doing things properly. If you want ownership, pace and visible impact, you’ll fit right in.
