PictureEast Film Festival is designed to celebrate the vibrant diversity of the borough through film, offering a platform for local artists and filmmakers while allowing audiences to connect with and appreciate one another’s cultures.

Volunteers play a crucial role in our event’s success, enhancing the experience for both our audience and participants. If you are passionate about film festivals and diversity, we would love to hear from you!

We will reimburse travel expenses for public transport within London Zones 1-6 and provide food and beverages for our volunteers. This is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the festival’s excitement while enjoying the films and events we curate. No prior experience is necessary, and everyone is welcome to apply. The New Black Film Collective (TNBFC) is a nationwide network of producers, educators, and programmers of Black representation on screen. TNBFC uses film as a tool for social impact and transformative change.
