Cardiff Capital is seeking an enthusiastic Events administrator to support the Senior Event Co-ordinator and Senior Events Assistant in planning and delivering live events across Rhondda Cynon Taf.

The role will involve a mix of home-based and on-site duties, with safeguarding responsibilities and a commitment to equality and inclusion. The post also reflects the Welsh-language strategy, including guaranteed interview for Welsh speakers at Level 3 and above.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the local authorities Events Team, What’s On RCT.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team to assist the Senior Event Co-ordinator and Senior Events Assistant in the planning and delivery of live events across Rhondda Cynon Taf.

The What’s on RCT team are responsible for delivering a number of events across Rhondda Cynon Taf from Aberdare Festival to the Big Welsh Bite concluding the event calendar with the world renowned Nos Galan Road Races held in Mountain Ash. What’s on RCT is responsible for organising and supporting over 20 events annually, attracting over 100,000 visitors to and from across the County Borough.

The successful candidate will have a background in the delivery of live events and have a genuine interest in developing a career in the Events industry.

This is a great opportunity to join a fast paced, dynamic and forward thinking service at an exciting time as live events return across the County Borough. The job will currently and primarily be carried out form home and on site across the County Borough.
