Whatistherole?

Inthisrole,youwillbeanintegralpartofSouthamptonFootballClub’snon-matchdayeventsteamtohelpgrowthereputation,footfall,revenueandprofitofeventswithinthestadium.Theprimaryfocusofthisrolewillbetomaximisetheuseofthestadiumvenuesbycuratinganddeliveringavarietyofinnovativeeventseachweek,thatengageawidedemographicofcustomers.

Whatwillyoubedoing?

Youwillbeleadingtheplanninganddeliveryofayear-roundeventscalendarwithaparticularfocusonTheDell,ouron-sitepub.Theaimwillbetomaximisepotentialrevenueandprofitbysettingtargetsandcreatingsalesplans.TrackingalleventsalesthroughtheCRMsystem,youwillproduceweeklyreportstopresenttoyourmanagerduringregularmeetingswhichensureon-trackachievementofdepartmentKPIs.

Workingcloselywiththeclub'smarketingteam,youwillsupportthedevelopmentofarobustmarketingplanthatencouragesnewaudiencestoparticipateinavarietyofeventsandutilisesopportunitiesduringseasonalholidays.YouYouwillensurealleventsaredeliveredsmoothlyandeffectivelywiththesupportofTheDelloperationalteamandaswellasproduceakeylearningdocumentafterevaluatingeventsandtakingonfeedbackfromclientsandcolleagues.

Youwilldevelopstrongrelationshipswithkeystakeholderswithinthebusiness,workingwithothersrunningvenuesatthestadiumandensuringallarefullybriefedoneacheventsothedepartmentcanbeasefficientaspossible.

Keepingaheadoftrendsandmarketleaderswillbeakeyelementofthisrole.Youwillbeawareofcompetitorsandindustryleaderswithinthesurroundingareasandbuildstrongrelationshipswithkeyeventpromoters,creatingyourownnetworkofusefulcontacts.

Youwillbethefirstpointofcontactforeventsandensureallcustomersarepersonallywelcomedtothevenueandfeelconfidentthattheycanrelyonyoutoruntheireventsuccessfully.
