Job Description

About the Role: We\'re seeking skilled and experienced Event Production Technicians to support lighting, video, and audio setups for live events, performances, and installations. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy hands-on technical work, creative problem-solving, and collaboration on high-quality productions.

Responsibilities
  • Set up, program, and operate lighting, sound, and video systems for live and staged events
  • Troubleshoot and maintain audiovisual equipment for seamless performance
  • Collaborate with designers, project managers, and fellow technicians to bring creative concepts to life
  • Assist with load-ins, rehearsals, and live event operations
  • Ensure all equipment meets safety and quality standards
  • Adapt to changing event needs and resolve challenges quickly and professionally
Qualifications & Skills
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in audiovisual, lighting, or live event production
  • Skilled with lighting consoles, sound systems, and video equipment (projectors, LED walls, media servers)
  • Understanding of power distribution, rigging, and networked AV systems
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Preferred
  • ETCP certification or related training
  • Experience in theatrical lighting, live music, or film production
  • Knowledge of special effects, automation, or interactive setups
