Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
LFX Events Ltd is seeking an experienced Event Production Manager to join our team and support live music, festivals, outdoor and in-venue events across the UK. You will be involved from early concept through on‑site execution, leading production, coordinating teams and ensuring safety and success.
You will develop site designs, production specs and schedules, manage contractors, and maintain strong client relationships while liaising with local authorities and the wider LFX team.
We are a professional event production, event management and event safety company working across the UK live events industry, supporting organisers across live music, festivals, outdoor and in-venue events, corporate events and mass participation events. Our clients include event organisers such as Future Sounds, Slam Dunk and AGN Events, alongside a growing portfolio of clients across the sector.
We are now looking for an experienced Event Production Manager to join our team as we continue to expand. You’ll have a genuine opportunity to influence how we continuously optimise event production and management services.
The Role
We're looking for someone who knows that great event production isn't just about writing the plan — it's about making the plan work.
You’ll be involved from the earliest stages of an event, developing site designs and specifications, sourcing suppliers, managing client relationships and liaising with contractors, local authorities and the wider LFX team.
You’ll write and coordinate event documentation, build production schedules and manage contractors.
Then you’ll be on site, leading the operation.
From site planning and build, through live activation and event operations, to break and handover, you’ll take a hands-on leadership role as Event Manager, coordinating teams, contractors, suppliers and stakeholders to deliver a safe, efficient and successful event.
What You’ll Be Doing
Who We’re Looking For
You’ll need significant previous experience in event production and/or event management and a track record of delivering events successfully in demanding environments.
You’ll have experience across several of the following:
Most importantly, you will have genuine experience of site delivery. You’ll be comfortable reading and developing plans, managing contractors and stakeholders, sitting in planning meetings and confidently discussing site design, procurement, logistics, documentation and operational risk making decisions under pressure and leading from the front when the site is live.
You’ll be the person who can walk onto a complicated event site, understand what’s happening, spot what needs attention and get things moving.
You’re organised without being bureaucratic, commercially aware without compromising quality, and calm when people look to you to lead.
Above all, you take ownership.
If you’re an experienced Production Manager or Event Manager looking for a role with real responsibility, variety and the opportunity to help grow an ambitious events business, we'd like to hear from you.
