Location: Oxford or London Hybrid

Duration: 6 month FTC, part time 3 days a week

About the role:

We're looking for an experienced Event Marketing Executive to join our team during a high-volume event period. This is a hands‑on role designed to ensure seamless event delivery and marketing execution across multiple markets.

You'll be the vital link between teams, clients, and delegates managing communications, coordinating logistics, and keeping everything running smoothly so our senior team can focus on strategy while you drive flawless execution.

What you’ll be doing:
Event & Marketing Coordination
  • Coordinate event and marketing activities across multiple teams and international markets.
  • Draft, manage, and circulate event marketing communications with consistency across languages and platforms.
  • Execute targeted email marketing campaigns including segmentation, A/B testing, and deliverability monitoring.
  • Develop timelines and liaise with venues, suppliers, and AV teams.
Data & Compliance
  • Maintain and manage mailing lists with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ensure GDPR/data protection compliance across all attendee lists and communications.
  • Handle approval processes and manage feedback loops efficiently.
On-the-Ground Event Support
  • Coordinate registration platforms and manage on-site registration procedures.
  • Troubleshoot issues in real-time during events.
  • Create and adapt event collateral (agendas, speaker bios, slides, signage) with consistent branding.
Reporting & Analysis
  • Manage event budgets at an operational level and track spend.
  • Capture key metrics: attendance, satisfaction, lead generation.
  • Prepare post-event reports with actionable insights.
Content & Amplification
  • Support social media amplification and live event content (copy, scheduling, speaker quotes).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and resolve bottlenecks before they happen.
What we’re looking for:
  • Strong experience in events and marketing coordination or communications.
  • Exceptional writing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Outstanding organisational ability and forensic attention to detail (especially with data).
  • Experience working in fast‑paced, multi‑market environments.
  • Self-starter who can manage competing priorities and work independently.
  • Hands‑on experience with event platforms (Cvent, Eventbrite) and CRM/email tools (ActiveCampaign, Salesforce, HubSpot, Mailchimp) (Desirable).
  • Familiarity with virtual/hybrid platforms (e.g., LiveStorm)(Desirable).
  • Analytical mindset—comfortable turning data into insights(Desirable).
  • Light design skills (Canva, PowerPoint) and multi-format copywriting(Desirable).
  • Multilingual skills or experience with translation/localisation workflows(Desirable).
