About the Role

This full time position will be based in our office in London.

We're looking for a collaborative, confident and ambitious Event Manager to join the Operations Team at Reuters Events in London and help us organise a busy portfolio of virtual and physical international events.

Responsibilities
  • Successfully plan and manage the end‑to‑end logistics for a high volume of annual conferences and events in a variety of formats (in‑person, hybrid & virtual).
  • Research and source venues, suppliers, and contractors.
  • Plan and book travel and accommodation arrangements.
  • Play an instrumental role in the negotiation of budgets and contracts to ensure we're delivering a great quality service whilst keeping costs to a minimum.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to bring the events to life and ensure their commercial success.
  • Travel to and supervise the on‑the‑day running of the events.
About You
  • Demonstrable experience of managing B2B conferences and exhibitions.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to engage with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail and meticulous planning skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively, work efficiently and juggle competing priorities.
  • Experience of managing budgets and reporting on event expenditure.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the professionalism and confidence to liaise with senior level industry contacts.
