A leading financial services group in London is seeking an experienced Event Manager to oversee small to medium-sized events. The role includes managing project plans, ensuring high-quality delivery, and collaborating with global teams. Candidates should have 3+ years in event management, excellent communication, and experience with Cvent. The position offers flexible working arrangements with 3 days required on-site.
Join a high performing global team and experience a variety of event projects including client entertainment, conferences, virtual and hybrid events, roadshows, and staff engagement. Working collaboratively across the Division of Corporate Affairs – including Government Relations, Media and External Communications, Macquarie Studio, Engagement and Brand and Creative.
While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require 3 days a week in the advertised location.

In this role, you will independently manage small to medium-sized events, overseeing all aspects from proposal pitching and contract negotiation to pre-event planning, onsite execution, budget management and post-event reporting. You will build and manage project plans, leading working groups to ensure timely and high-quality delivery. Collaborating with colleagues in the global Corporate Affairs team, you will also contribute to larger, more complex event projects and take ownership of ongoing administrative tasks. You will use Cvent to manage invitations, registration websites and event apps, ensuring seamless event experiences for attendees.
