The Event and Outreach Officer play a key role in promoting William College through engaging events and outreach activities, with a strong focus on quality student recruitment. The role involves planning and delivering a wide range of internal and external events aimed at increasing student enrolment, enhancing community relationships, and enriching the student experience. The postholder will work closely with the Marketing, Admissions, and Student Services teams to support strategic recruitment and engagement goals.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver a wide range of college events (e.g., open days, inductions, cultural events, graduation, student fairs) to attract and engage potential students.
- Manage all event logistics, guest coordination, and on-the-day delivery to ensure a professional, welcoming, and impactful experience.
- Work closely with academic partnership team to organise outreach visits to schools, colleges, and community centres, delivering presentations, workshops, and Q&A sessions to generate awareness and student leads.
- Create and maintain strong branding and digital presence through promotional content, social media, newsletters, and student testimonials to support recruitment.
- Support student engagement and retention initiatives (e.g., wellbeing weeks, employability events) to build belonging and enhance satisfaction.
- Track and report on events, outreach activities, attendance, engagement, and recruitment impact, maintaining accurate records and databases.
- Generate, nurture, and convert student leads from events, outreach, referrals, and campaigns into confirmed enrolments.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Admissions, Student Services) to align outreach, engagement, and recruitment strategies.

Academic Qualification
