Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide is recruiting for a part-time role at Parcelforce Worldwide Solent. Starting salary is £25,201 per year (£12.71 per hour) with progression to £27,561 after six months and potential to earn up to £30,000 per year with overtime.

Typical hours are Monday to Friday 3:45pm-8:45pm, with paid weekday and weekend overtime. You will unload/load parcels, sort them for delivery routes and support drivers, delivering a dependable customer-focused service and representing Royal Mail

Qualifications

• A full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your current address with no more than 6 points.
• Good attention to detail and a safety-focused approach.
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg.
• Friendly, dependable and customer focused attitude.
• Comfortable working independently but also a great team player.

Responsibilities

• Unloading and loading parcels.
• Sorting parcels to correct delivery route and preparing trailer for drivers.
• Providing a friendly, dependable service to customers and businesses.
