Job summary

Right Now Group are recruiting a Warehouse Operative to join a busy operation at East Midlands Airport. This part-time evening role combines hands-on warehouse duties with administrative responsibilities in a busy air cargo environment.

Responsibilities include preparing freight for export, scanning shipments, completing paperwork and manifests, and communicating with internal teams. DBS check and a full 5-year background check are required; DBS/CO training costs are payable in advance.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse and/or administration experience.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Willingness to perform manual handling and paperwork tasks.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced warehouse and cargo environment.
• Load and unload parcels onto belts and vehicles.
• Scan parcels with handheld scanners.
• Prepare freight for export.
• Complete manifests and paperwork.
• Maintain accurate records and data entry.
• Communicate shipment updates with internal teams.
• Follow health and safety procedures.
• Support broader warehouse operations as needed.
