Job summary

Sutton College seeks a dynamic Education and Training Tutor to deliver the NCFE Level 3 Award in an evening format, with sessions in the classroom and online using Google Classroom. You will support learners to build knowledge and skills for teaching in the post-16 sector.

Responsibilities include creating a safe learning environment, employing diverse teaching strategies, assessing progress, and providing feedback.

Qualifications

• Experience in Adult Education or Further Education Post 16 college environment.
• Experience teaching a range of levels in the subject area.
• Experience with quality improvement processes which support and develop practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Education & Training Level 3 Award (NCFE) in evening sessions both in classroom and online via Google Classroom.
• Create a safe and organised learning environment and adhere to safety guidelines.
• Engage learners using a range of teaching strategies and adapt to diverse learners.
• Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback to support development.
• Contribute to quality assurance and curriculum development to achieve strong learner outcomes and employability support.
