Job summary

A renowned London theatre is seeking a Commercial Event Duty Manager to oversee private hires and commercial events. You will manage the event logistics, coordinate with client and suppliers, and lead a team to ensure the highest level of service. The role requires proven event management experience, a flexible approach, and an ability to work under pressure. This is a permanent position with variable shifts between 4pm and 11pm. The hourly rate is £18.47.

Qualifications

• Proven experience of leading a team in an on-the-ground capacity.
• Highly motivated with a positive and flexible approach to work.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new information and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support the smooth running of private hires and commercial events.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and suppliers.
• Manage event logistics and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Direct the Event Team and ensure high standards of service.
• Complete Events Duty Manager Reports at the end of events.
