Job summary

Waingels in Reading is seeking two Site Assistants to secure school buildings, grounds and boundaries after the day’s activities, ensuring a safe, locked-down environment. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will support evening lock-up procedures and safeguarding of pupils and staff.

The roles run from 7.30pm to 9.45pm, Monday to Friday, with shifts split according to availability. We are looking for reliable, practical and security-conscious individuals who can contribute to a safe school

• Secure the school buildings, grounds and boundaries at the end of the day to ensure a safe, locked-down environment.
• Assist with evening lock-up procedures under the direction of the Site Manager and safeguarding of pupils, staff and visitors.
