Job summary

Norse Group LTD is seeking a reliable part-time Cleaner at Hoyland Common Primary for maternity cover. You will perform cleaning tasks in classrooms and shared spaces, ensuring floors, desks, and restrooms are well maintained after school hours.

The role is 12.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Training will be provided, with enhanced DBS check required and benefits including annual leave, pension, and sickness schemes.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning or caretaking experience is desirable.
• Knowledge of basic site health & safety is required.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients on-site.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors and rooms including dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming.
• Empty bins, clean restrooms, and ensure sanitation stations are stocked.
• Build relationships with clients on site.
• Follow health and safety protocols at all times.
• Report defects or damages when observed.
