Job summary

Lavington School is seeking a Cleaner to join our on-site facilities team. This part-time role runs 20 hours per week, 3:00pm–7:00pm, Monday to Friday, supporting pupils and staff in a safe, clean environment.

You will clean classrooms and shared areas, dispose of waste, restock consumables, and ensure washrooms are well-presented. Experience in cleaning is desirable; ability to work independently or with colleagues is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in a cleaning role is desirable.
• Experience in a school environment would be an advantage.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a site team.

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms and communal areas.
• Mop and vacuum floors.
• Empty bins and maintain washroom facilities.
• Replenish consumables and monitor stock levels.
• Follow health and safety procedures.
