Newcastle City Council is hiring a Cleaner for St Oswalds RC Primary School in Newcastle. The role is 17.50 hours per week, 2:30pm to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, with a pay rate of £13.45 per hour. Training is provided and a DBS check will be completed as part of recruitment.

The post involves cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices and toilets, plus duties such as bin emptying, mopping and vacuuming to tight deadlines. On-site work only.

Qualifications

• No prior cleaning experience required; full training provided.
• Basic understanding of written and spoken English.
• DBS check will be undertaken before start due to regulated activities.

Responsibilities
