The Best Connection Group Limited is recruiting an Evening School Cleaner for a friendly educational setting in the Fontwell area. This part-time, term-time-only role offers consistent evening work with a potential permanent position after a successful temporary period.

DBS checks are funded by the client. You will maintain a clean, safe, welcoming environment, cleaning classrooms, offices, corridors and communal areas each evening, following health and safety guidelines.

• Own transport is required due to location.

Responsibilities

Key Duties:

As a School Cleaner, you will play an important part in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will be responsible for ensuring classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets, and communal areas are cleaned to a high standard each evening.

Cleaning classrooms, offices, corridors, and communal areas

Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors

Dusting and wiping surfaces

Cleaning toilets and replenishing consumables

Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately

Ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed to the required standards

Following health and safety procedures at all times

Reporting any maintenance or health and safety concerns

Skills and attributes

Previous cleaning experience is essential, previous experience in a school setting is advantageous

Excellent attention to detail

Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

Reliable and punctual attitude

A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness

Due to the location of this role, candidates must have their own transport

Hours

Monday to Friday 5pm to 9pm (term time only)

Pay

£12.71 per hour
