Job summary

Chimes is seeking a residential support professional in Wallingford, PA to provide personal assistance, training, and high-quality care for individuals with intellectual disabilities in a community group home. The role reports to the Division Manager of Residential Services and House Manager supervision.

The position runs Tuesday through Saturday from 4 pm to 12 am, offering $17.50 per hour. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with Pennsylvania background checks and clearances

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• None required experience.
• Pennsylvania Child Abuse, Criminal and fingerprint-based federal criminal history clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist persons-served in reaching their goals of becoming more independent.
• Act as a positive role model for persons served.
• Provide guidance, instruction, coaching, and support, following individual plans.
• Engage individuals in beneficial programs and activities.
• Transport and accompany individuals into the community for appointments and outings.
• Directly assist with personal care as needed.
• Assist with meal preparation and routine homemaking duties.
• Ensure the safety of the person served including medical/medication needs.
• Apply approved behavior plans and intervention strategies as needed.
• Complete records and reports; collect data according to Agency policy.
