Job summary

Unity is seeking an experienced on-site Security Officer to protect a central London portfolio of premium commercial properties. You will be the first line of protection outside core hours, maintaining vigilance, discretion, and professional conduct to reassure tenants and the property team.

Working 2pm–10pm Monday to Friday with occasional weekends, you will conduct access control, patrols, and nightly close of amenities, log incidents, and liaise with FM and contractors to ensure secure,

• Experience in commercial or multi-tenant buildings with security focus.
• Strong understanding of security protocols and emergency procedures.
• Able to work independently and travel between sites efficiently.

Responsibilities

• On-Site Security at the main building; manage access control and liaise with reception and FM staff.
• Conduct portfolio security patrols and verify doors, alarms, and security of amenities.
• Respond to remote alarm alerts, document incidents, and coordinate with contractors and emergency services.
