Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting a Postal/Parcel Delivery Driver in Wishaw for Royal Mail. This temporary role pays £13.69 per hour, up to 30 hours per week, with shifts 15:00–21:00, Monday to Friday and weekend availability required.

Start at the local delivery office, load deliveries, and deliver on foot or by vehicle. Use a handheld device for signature capture and navigation. Full UK manual licence (max 6 points) and willingness to work outdoors in all weather are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load your deliveries
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle - walking up to 8 miles per day
• Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg)
• Use delivery trolleys when required
