Job summary

Royal Mail Group in Brentwood is hiring a Parcel Delivery Driver on a fixed-term 9-month contract. The role is 30 hours per week, with shifts in the afternoon and evenings, and you will work Saturdays and Sundays as required by a local rota.

You will prepare your van, use route-planning tools and deliver parcels across your area with a strong focus on customer service. Join a team dedicated to delivering for people every day, with a guaranteed hourly rate and full uniform and pension support.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
• Excellent customer service and ability to work independently
• Comfortable interacting with customers and representing Royal Mail professionally

Responsibilities

• Prepping your van and workload for the day using route-planning technology to ensure parcels arrive on time
• Delivering parcels and providing customer service, acting as a positive ambassador for Royal Mail
• Securely delivering all items on your route, including election materials and restricted items in line with standards
