Job summary

GBD FedEx Express UK Transportation Limited in Poole is seeking a Handler for a 1-year PM shift (15:30 - 20:30) to load/unload vehicles, sort and move packages with scan methods. You will support the supervisor, follow health and safety rules, and complete training. Competitive salary with premia for late hours and a strong team environment.

Expect a 25-hour weekly schedule as a temporary role at Poole Depot, with opportunities for progression in a rapidly expanding FedEx operation.

Qualifications

• Be able to communicate effectively in a fast-moving environment.
• Be a great team player and follow training.
• Have excellent eye for detail and make quick, accurate decisions.
• Be able to complete required training.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload vehicles and sort/move packages using scan and load methods.
• Operate machinery where appropriate and assist the supervisor and team.
• Maintain health and safety practices to ensure a safe working environment.
