Job summary

Pertemps Edinburgh Contracts is seeking a Cleaner for a full-time, temporary position in Port Glasgow, with a pay rate of £12.80 per hour. This 12-week assignment, Monday to Friday from 13:30 to 21:30, involves maintaining high cleanliness standards across office buildings and welfare facilities.

The role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently. Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out general cleaning duties across office buildings and welfare facilities.
• Cleaning communal areas, workspaces, kitchens, toilets and staff welfare areas.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Replenishing supplies as required.
• Following health and safety procedures and site cleaning standards.
• Reporting issues or maintenance concerns to the appropriate person.
• Working safely and efficiently within a busy shipyard environment.
