Job summary

Fennies Day Nurseries in Wales is seeking a Nursery Housekeeper for 15 hours per week, 6pm to 9pm, five days. You’ll help keep rooms clean, safe and welcoming, supporting educators and children with a calm, well-organised environment.

You’ll work with the nursery team to keep rooms tidy and hygienic, follow cleaning schedules and safeguarding guidelines, and contribute to a calm, supportive atmosphere for daily activities.

Qualifications

• You don’t need previous experience. We’ll provide the support you need to succeed. You’re reliable, take pride in your work, and are committed to creating clean, organised spaces that help everything run smoothly.
• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is helpful but not essential. We’ll provide the guidance and training you need.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment across the nursery.
• Work collaboratively with the wider team.
• Contribute towards a warm and respectful atmosphere for children and teams.
• Always show strong attention to detail while respecting confidentiality and safeguarding.
• Identify areas that need attention and take initiative to keep the nursery environment looking its best.
• Follow cleaning schedules and hygiene procedures to support health and safety standards.
• Help create calm, organised spaces that support children’s daily experiences.
