Job summary

Waitrose & Partners is seeking a Supermarket Assistant at Locks Heath to support store operations, stock the shelves, and fulfill online orders with a customer-focused approach. You will help maintain a safe, clean shop environment and assist in a busy, team-driven setting.

The role offers weekend/evening hours with a £3.75 night premium and a base rate of £13.00 per hour, rising to £13.25 after 90 days. 20 hours per week, permanent flexibility, and part-time commitment are expected.

• Excellent communication to work with customers and team.
• Experience in customer-facing roles is welcomed.
• Interest in food and drink trends and flexibility to support the branch.

Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment to keep shelves full and correctly placed.
• Fulfilling online orders for delivery to customers' doors.
• Minimise waste via proper handling and sell-by management.
• Support wider shop team including checkout, Click & Collect, and orders.
• Maintain a safe, tidy working environment and shopkeeping tasks.
