Job summary

Mind BLMK is seeking a Mental Health Recovery Worker to support individuals in the community through 1:1 sessions and structured interventions, with a focus on deescalating crisis when needed. The role sits within the Recovery Lounge team alongside volunteers, offering a safe, non-judgmental environment outside normal hours.

The successful candidate will bring experience with mental health needs, contribute to performance targets, and build relationships across diverse communities.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with individuals experiencing mental health and wellbeing issues.
• Ability to establish and maintain constructive working relationships with a wide range of people.
• Experience delivering a service against performance targets.

Responsibilities

• Assess needs and offer one-to-one support to service users to improve mental health and wellbeing.
• Provide clarity on services and pathways available in the area.
• Support individuals through focused 1:1 sessions and structured interventions.
