Job summary

The Peninsula London is seeking an experienced Evening Housekeeping Supervisor (Maternity Cover) to lead an efficient, high-standard room cleaning operation.

Based at our flagship hotel in London, the role focuses on cleanliness, cost control and guest satisfaction, with a 2:30pm–11pm shift, five days per week. You will coach a diverse team, participate in hiring, and maintain impeccable standards while managing labour and quality in a luxury setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a similar role within luxury hotels.
• Strong financial acumen; labour management and cost control.
• Experience leading diverse teams; trainer and coach.
• Willingness to work night shifts when required.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the highest level of cleanliness, quality and maintenance of the hotel's guest rooms, stores, guest corridors, pantries, back areas (including Residences).
• Monitor and improve standards throughout the Housekeeping Department with a focus on Porters and Room Attendants.
• Involved in hiring, developing, motivating, supervising, and coaching a diverse Laundry/Valet Team.
• Shift pattern will be on 5 days from 2:30pm to 11pm.
