Job summary

A healthcare provider in the East Midlands is seeking compassionate staff to support children and young adults with complex health needs in their homes. The role involves providing clinical care, administering medications, and assisting with personal routines. Candidates should hold a Level 2/3 Qualification in Health and Social Care. This position offers comprehensive training and 24/7 support to staff to ensure guidance and assistance as needed.

Qualifications

  • Must have communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Level 2/Level 3 Qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical care including chest management and personal care.
  • Administer medications and assist with eating and drinking.
  • Help with morning and night time routines.

Job description

NurtureCare is commissioned to support both children and young adults with complex health and additional health needs within the home environment.

Afternoon shifts from 3.30pm - 8pm, 4pm - 9pm.

We are looking for staff who have:
  • The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Level 2/Level 3 Qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent.

PLEASE NOTE: We currently unable to offer sponsorships for this position.

Clinical care that you will provide – full training will be given:
  • Chest management
  • Moving and handling including the use of a hoist and slide sheets
  • Aiding with morning and night time routines including personal care, dressing and washing
  • Administering medication
  • Assisting with eating and drinking

  • Previous experience working in care
