Job summary

Concept Resources is recruiting a Cleaning Operative for a commercial site in Oban. This part-time evening role offers 10 hours per week with a holiday cover contract and potential to become temp to perm.

The successful candidate will maintain high cleanliness standards, handle general cleaning tasks, and follow health and safety procedures. Key duties include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning offices and washrooms, and securing the premises after shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred.
• Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
• Comfortable working independently and as a lone worker.
• Able to work as a key holder and operate an alarm system where required.
• Right to work in the UK (documentation must be presented at induction).
• Willing to use a telephone-based time and attendance system.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning of commercial premises.
• Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors.
• Cleaning offices, kitchens, washrooms and communal areas.
• Emptying bins and replenishing consumables.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Following all health and safety procedures.
• Locking and securing the premises where required.
