Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor at Moorgate to lead the evening cleaning team, manage rotas, training and daily activities to keep the team motivated and supported.

You will champion high standards, perform inspections and builds walks to ensure the service meets expectations, manage stock and contractor activity, and promote a robust Health & Safety culture on site.

Qualifications

• Two years+ experience in cleaning, supervisory experience preferred.
• Confident communicator and team player with ability to motivate colleagues.
• Skilled with professional cleaning equipment and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the evening cleaning team, manage rotas, training and day‑to‑day activities.
• Conduct inspections, audits and building walks to maintain service standards.
• Support stock management, waste operations, schedules and contractor activity; escalate issues as needed.
• Promote a strong Health & Safety culture and ensure safe working practices.

What you'll do:

• Lead and inspire the evening cleaning team, overseeing rotas, training, performance and day-to-day activities to keep the team motivated and supported.
• Champion high standards, carrying out regular inspections, audits and building walks to ensure our cleaning service consistently meets expectations.
• Keep operations running smoothly, supporting stock management, waste operations, cleaning schedules and contractor activity while resolving and escalating issues when needed.
• Put safety first, promoting a strong Health & Safety culture, carrying out safety observations and ensuring the team follows safe working practices at all times.

What you’ll bring:

• Experienced cleaning professional with at least two years' experience across a range of environments, ideally with experience supervising or working as part of a team.
• Confident communicator and team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and support colleagues.
• Skilled in using professional cleaning equipment, including floor and carpet cleaners, buffers and polishers, with a strong commitment to following procedures and maintaining high standards.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety, including COSHH and Manual Handling, with a proactive approach to creating a safe working environment.
