Job summary

Nexgen Group is recruiting x2 Evening Cleaning Operatives for a new site in Ipswich, IP3. The role covers evenings, with shifts from 6pm–8pm or 7pm–9pm, Monday to Sunday, 2 hours per shift.

Pay is £12.21 per hour on weekdays and £13.67 per hour on weekends. Previous cleaning experience, IT literacy for tablet or apps, and good English communication are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in cleaning environment is essential.
• IT literate (use of tablet, smart phone apps).
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written (English).

Responsibilities

• Dust, damp wipe or wash walls, skirting boards, hand rails, ledges, window sills, radiators, lifts, doors and frames.
• Sweeping floors with brushes or dust control mops.
• Mopping floors with wet or damp mops.
• Hoovering of carpeted areas.
• Emptying waste bins or similar receptacles, transporting waste material to designated collection points.
• Mix cleaning supplies in the correct quantities for safe use.
• Replenish consumable items e.g. soap, toilet rolls, paper towels (if contractual).
• Clean kitchens, toilets, urinals, hand basins and sinks.
