Job summary

Lancing College is seeking an Evening Cleaner to join the Facilities team. This term-time only role (plus 8 weeks) is 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday 5:30pm–8:30pm, on-site at the campus.

You will clean designated areas, maintain equipment, and ensure health and safety standards, COSHH compliance, and a high level of service across classrooms and public areas. Salary is £14.24 per hour inclusive of holiday pay.

• To clean designated areas, which may change from time to time to include common rooms, corridors, stairs, showers, kitchen, WC's, teaching rooms and public areas.
• To maintain cleaning equipment to the required standard.
• To ensure areas are kept safe and secure.
• To observe and comply with the School's Health & Safety policy and Code of Practice.
• To observing COSHH regulations and the safe use of chemicals.

• Experience of working in a similar role within a customer service environment.
• Committed to providing a quality service, right down to the intricate details.
• A willing team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Proactive in seeking service improvements.
• Flexible approach in meeting customer needs.
