Job summary

Mitie Group plc in Peterborough is hiring for a permanent full-time cleaner. The role runs Monday to Friday from 2pm to 10pm, 37.5 hours per week, at McCormick (UK), Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, PE7 3HH. You will keep equipment clean and safe, meet SLAs and follow cleaning schedules.

No prior cleaning experience is required; however, a flexible and proactive attitude helps. Basic English communication is needed.

Qualifications

• Basic English reading and communication required.
• Desirable but not essential cleaning experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained, and in safe working order
• Meet all agreed SLAs and follow cleaning schedules
• Build knowledge of the designated cleaning area and understand cleaning equipment and chemicals used
• Follow Health and Safety requirements and complete all required training
• Work effectively within a team and independently, delivering excellent customer service
