Job summary

Salford Council is seeking a part of our Citywide cleaning team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness across facilities in Salford. The role covers daily cleaning tasks including buffing, sweeping, vacuuming and general housekeeping, with a schedule of 13.75 hours per week.

The post offers permanent, all-year-round employment with access to LGPS pension, discounts, and other wellbeing benefits. DBS check will be required, with costs deducted from early salary payments.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning roles is preferred.
• Ability to follow health and safety and DBS requirements may be required.

Responsibilities

• Clean the building to a high standard for visitors and staff.
• Perform buffing, sweeping and vacuum cleaning as part of daily duties.
• Maintain cleanliness of premises and assist with general housekeeping tasks.
