Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Cleaner based at the Fylde Office, Preston, with a 3pm–6pm shift (or 3:30pm–6:30pm if preferred). You will maintain a clean, safe environment across OCS sites, delivering high standards of cleaning and hygiene in line with specifications and health & safety requirements.

The role involves day-to-day cleaning, working independently or as part of a team, and providing a professional customer‑focused service.

Qualifications

• Right to Work in the UK and DBS check availability is required.
• Cleaning experience in commercial or similar environments is desirable.
• Good knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment and materials.
• Awareness of health and safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, dusting and emptying waste.
• Clean welfare areas, offices and washrooms to required standards.
• Replenish consumables such as toilet paper and soap where required.
• Follow health & safety, COSHH and cleaning procedures.
• Use cleaning equipment safely and report maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Work efficiently to complete tasks within timescales.
• Provide courteous service to customers, clients and colleagues.
