Job summary

Dalkia UK is seeking a Night Cleaner for our Didsbury-based team in Manchester. The role is part-time, 20 hours per week, with shift from 5pm to 9pm, Monday to Friday.

You will be responsible for general cleaning duties under the Cleaning Supervisor and must follow COSHH data and safety procedures. Essential experience includes prior cleaning work, use of cleaning equipment, and strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a cleaner or similar role.
• Experience in the use of cleaning equipment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Understand safe working practices and health and safety legislation.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Well-organised and capable of prioritising own work.
• Flexible approach to working as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum carpeted areas of the building.
• Mop and buff vinyl and/or hard floor areas of the building.
• Clean toilet areas of the building.
• Polish glass and brass work in the building.
• Collect and remove rubbish and waste material to authorised disposal points.
• Take responsibility for the safe use of all cleaning materials and equipment used in the course of your duties.
• Work in a safe manner for the benefit of oneself and other occupants of the building.
