Job summary

Home Instead is seeking Care Professionals for full-time shifts in the Thirsk area. Roles involve providing companionship and personal care, with minimum visits of one hour. Shifts run in the evenings from 4.45pm to 9.30pm with guaranteed hours and fully paid training.

You will be part of a globally recognized team delivering award-winning home care and support services. A valid UK driving licence and right to work in the UK are required; training is provided for those new to care.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid UK driving licence
• Right to work in the UK
• Experience in Support working, Retail, Hospitality or Domiciliary Care is welcome but not required (training provided)

Responsibilities

• Companionship
• Helping with personal care
• Helping with mobility around the home
• Overseeing medication and providing medical support
• Helping with housework such as cleaning and vacuuming
• Preparing and cooking meals
• Running errands such as food shopping or picking up prescriptions
