Job summary

Bluebird Care Cheshire West and Flintshire is seeking a caring Care Assistant to join our team. You’ll support customers at home, helping with daily living tasks and personal care while working evenings 3/4 times weekly and alternating weekends.

We offer induction, ongoing expert training, mileage reimbursement, and flexible shifts in a supportive, inclusive team with 24/7 assistance and DBS clearance provided.

Qualifications

• Kind, compassionate attitude and a calm approach to care.
• Great communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
• Ability to follow care plans.
• Previous care experience is beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided.
• Full Driving Licence and access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s individual needs.
• Assist with personal care (e.g., bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Help with meal prep and nutrition.
• Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal.
• Carry out light housework such as tidying, laundry and general cleaning.
• Be a dependable friendly, familiar face for all the customers you care for.

Location: Mold and surrounding areas. Salary: £13.50 – £16.88 per hour. Contract type: Care Delivery. Shift: evening shifts 3/4 times a week, alternate weekends.
