Job summary

GreensafeIT is seeking a reliable 7.5T Driver & Logistics Operative in Kidderminster to join the busy Logistics team. The role supports warehouse activities, loads/unloads vehicles, and shunts equipment between sites, ensuring timely DPD collections.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, approx. 12:00–20:00, with flexibility for operational needs; the position requires a proactive, organised team player committed to safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Cat C1 (7.5T entitlement).
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card are required.
• Comfortable with manual handling and physical work.
• Able to work Monday to Friday, 12:00–20:00, with flexibility for operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company 7.5T vehicles in line with UK driving legislation, tachograph regulations and company policies.
• Transfer IT equipment and other goods between Kidderminster and Droitwich sites.
• Complete the daily DPD run, delivering palletised electrical and high-security items for dispatch.
• Load and unload vehicles safely, including manual handling and handballing goods where required.
• Support the warehouse and logistics teams with day-to-day operational activities, including stock movement, vehicle loading and general yard duties.
• Assist with preparing vehicles and equipment for customer deliveries, collections and onsite projects.
• Transport colleagues safely between company sites at scheduled times when required.
• Complete daily vehicle checks, maintain accurate driving records and report any defects, incidents or maintenance requirements promptly.
• Represent GreensafeIT professionally when interacting with colleagues, customers and third‑party partners.
