Job summary

Marmion is seeking a hands-on Electrical Technician to service EV charging infrastructure across the UK. You will diagnose faults, commission and update firmware, and perform planned maintenance to maximise uptime. Travel throughout Greater London and beyond with overnight stays as needed.

Ideal candidates have Level 3 electro-technical qualifications, 2+ years in field-based electrical work, and a valid UK driving licence. Industry experience in EV/renewables is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in commercial field-based electrical installation/maintenance
• Familiarity with test and measurement equipment such as multimeters/voltage testers
• UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve faults on EV charging equipment
• Commission, configure and update firmware where required
• Carry out planned maintenance and reactive repairs to maximise uptime
• Provide on-site technical support and clear updates to customers
• Ensure safety standards compliance and accurate reporting
